I work with Professor Jonathan Tennyson in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at University College London. I am a member of the ExoMol group, a 5-year ERC-funded project which is calculating accurate and complete line lists for molecular species found in exoplanets and cool stars.

I am also a member of the Virtual Atomic and Molecular Data Centre consortium, another European project with the aim of building an interoperable e-infrastructure for the exchange of atomic and molecular data. I am particularly involved with the development of XSAMS, an XML Schema for representing atomic and molecular data co-ordinated by the IAEA, and a relational database model for the HITRAN database. I spent a sabbatical year from 2014 at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics building an online interface for this database, HITRANonline.
